Many of the McEwen Group branches stock an undercoarsing grade of Western Red Cedar shingles which are primarily used for shims. In addition, 18” and 24” hand-split and re-sawn shakes along with 18” sawn shingles are available for roofing or siding applications. Roofing products are also available fire-treated. Siding

Hood Distribution stocks Western Red Cedar Siding at many of its branches. WRC Siding creates a warm beauty that is unmatched in quality for residential siding. Hood Distribution branches stock an 8” Plain Bevel Siding, but other profiles are available upon request. The state-of-the-art milling and light weight of this product make the installation process seamless.

To compliment our WRC Shingles and Siding, most of our branches stock 1x4 thru 1x12 S4S or S1S2E boards for trim and fascia applications. Select patterns such as V-joint, are also stocked at many of the Hood Distribution branches.

Temple-Inland Hardboard siding is in our inventory at select locations. Hardboard siding is designed for beauty, efficiency, and value. The standard, defect-free 16’ long composition minimizes installation and upkeep headaches.
